Bug in Forms 9.2.0.908 - Noticeable on Publish Page

asked on March 6, 2015

Not a functional break but still a bug I believe.

Bug: When publishing a form created in a certain way, a general "Laserfiche Forms encountered an internal error. Please try again" occurs on the Publish tab.

  1. Create a New Process
  2. Select "Blank Process Model"
  3. Click the Publish Tab

An error displays and no URL is created to the process. Clicking the publish button on the page does nothing.

It seems any combination of events after selecting the "Blank Process Model" results in an unpublishable form. I've tried to make a legitimate form in the process modeller before navigating to the publish tab and receive the same error.

Like I mentioned, not a big deal as I can use the other templates just fine but I ran into it so thought I'd report.

Maybe it's an error only my setup.

Cheers,

Carl

Here's the application event viewer error message with the User name stripped out. It was a laserfiche named repository named user.

This issue should be addressed in the next version of Forms.
