Is it possible to setup Forms 9.2 on a laptop with Windows 8.1 that does not have the windows feature windows authentication? After install I get the 401.0 error when trying to open forms config.

Windows Authentication is required for Configuration site for security concern(only built-in administrators of the Forms machine can access the configuration site). You can use anonymous authentication for 9.1 for there is a defect in 9.1

What URL are you using for Forms?

Is the Forms URL a trusted site in the browser?

What authentication are you using for the Forms Virtual Directory?

Yes it is trusted intranet

anonymous authentication

I'm curious because I used to be able to skip the Windows Authentication prerequisite to install but it does not seem that I can do that with 9.2.

I successfully installed 9.1.1 so I'll stick with that for now.
