Fill Rich-Text or HTML content to a PDF template using Fill PDF

Does anyone have a good way to post either HTML or RTF data to a PDF field ?

I want a pre-formatted output posted to a PDF field via a 'Fill PDF' activity in Workflow.

I formatted the PDF field to accept rich-text, but have been unsuccessful in posting the formatted data from an LF template field to the PDF template.  In production, I will stream (preferably HTML, but could be RTF) data from a service call via a token.

If anyone has a method or suggestion, I would love to hear it.

So looks like streaming RTF data into a Rich-text field into a PDF does not work.  It basically just prints all of the formatting marks in the text field instead of interpreting the data as rich text.

Does anyone have thoughts on a better way to use Workflow's Fill PDF activity to embed formatted RTF or HTML content into a PDF ?
