Hi,

We were able to implement custom validation by updating the html of "div.ws-errorbox" and adding following classes to the respective elements "user-error", "ws-invalid".

Is there any specific class/attribute that needs to be added/updated to the element to prevent Submission?

Hello!

One way to prevent submission is to hide the submit button when there is a user error or invalid entry. Here is a post discussing methods to accomplish this.
