When we get the Windows Groups or Users in Directory Server for RIO, what kind of information is retrieved about the users from AD?
I want to know if we can get Email of the users from AD into LF?

The License Manager does not retrieve any information beyond the user's SID and account name when registering named users. Workflow can retrieve more information on-demand through an active directory trustee provider.
Does that mean it will automatically pull the information or will have to manually punch in?

As far as the default folder goes, yes, it could be cumbersome if you have lots of users. I would just use the "Route to folder" option in the Route to User/Group activities and use a pattern for the folder paths (for ex, \Users\%(RouteEntrytoUser_User_Account Name)) rather than "route to the user's default folder". You still achieve the same effect without having to set default folders.
