Quick Fields 8.0+ sessions are saved as *.qfx files and are essentially independent of the Quick Fields software. You should be able to upgrade Quick Fields from 8.0 to 9.0 and access the sessions just like before (presuming you are doing an in-place upgrade of the software on the same computer).
