ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specification

hi to all

I am facing very strange problem  with the Oracle Connectivity.

I created System DSN trough ODBC and tested it is working fine but when I try to call same DSN to workflow and try to test I am getting ORA-12154 Error which is TNS related.

 

OS : windows Server 2012 R2 64 bit

Oracle Driver : 11.2.0.1.0 64 bit

After install Oracle Client 12.1.0.1.0 we are able to connect to the DB.

yes after install Oracle client 12 as mentioned version we did not face any issue.

There isn't enough information to troubleshoot. Please take screenshots of the configuration of your data source and open a support case.

Hi Mazahir,
At a customer site, we were OK using Oracle 11.0x (11g) client on Win2012 but had the same issue with Win2012 R2. I'd lke to hear more about your issues. Did you end up logging a call after installing client 12.
