Forms service task suspending externally but not internally

We have a Forms process that suspends 'email to notify' service task when the initial form is submitted via the App or if its coming in via the external web server (outside DMZ). The process continues correctly if being submitted within domain on internal servers. Is this a time out issue and if so, how do we adjust?

The first service task (see screens below) always works which saves to repository and applies a template.

Resolved!

We found an issue with the Exchange Server not allowing the second Forms instance to communicate from the external servers.

Are the "notify xxx" service tasks email service tasks which sending emails to windows users? Can you check what is the detail error logged in events log on the external web server when the service task is suspended?

Yes, they are email service tasks to Laserfiche users in the organisation. I have attached screens of the 2 errors that are generated from each form submitted via the external server.

I cleared the paused processes from the internal server with no issue by retrying the task.
