Re-sending Forms to Laserfiche from Results Page.

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to push copies of submitted forms into Laserfiche from the results tab in Forms.  I've encountered this situation many times now, but not on this scale, and my solution has always been to open the submitted form in Forms and snapshot the page into Laserfiche.  Is there an easier way to re-send a submitted form to Laserfiche if it fails to store initially, or the original gets destroyed?

I feel like this is a highly important feature if it does not exist yet, and should be prioritized as such.  We have a client that recently upgraded to 9.2 and has well over 100 submissions that never actually stored into Laserfiche that we will now need to Snapshot individually.  Being that there are elaborate workflows tied to these forms when they store, this is going to take a huge amount of time.

I know the issue you are describing is a know problem and I believe Laserfiche is working on a fix for it. We have a few that are hanging at that step and there is no way to retry. The idea of being able to resend a form manually from the Result page is a great request though.

I have run into this on almost a daily basis too. For me, I just go to the Results tab in the Forms system and then open the instance that failed to Save to Laserfiche. From there, I click on the "Retry" button in the Status column which usually successfully submits it to Laserfiche and kicks off any Workflows that get triggered. If I have a large group, then I first filter the Results list by Status and then select all the results. Then use the green "Retry" button at the top to retry the Save to Laserfiche step. They usually all get saved this time.

Maybe your process is configured differently though.

Thanks Eric,

This won't work for this issue, though.  The processes are at the "Completed" stage, but somehow did not get stored into Laserfiche, so the retry buttons don't exist.  This method also wouldn't work for forms that need to be resent due to accidental deletion.

I just ran into this today. The form actually made it into Laserfiche but there was a triggered workflow that failed and some fields did note get updated. So I really needed to go back to the instance and resend them but, as you said, since they were "completed" I don't have the ability. Sounds like we are printing the forms and manually re-entering them. This would be a helpful feature to add. +1

Hi to All,

 We rely need to retry a hanging form.

 We have this issue when the (Laserfiche Forms Routing Service) suddenly stoped, so some forms are hanged and disappeared from the inbox , while it is shown in the result section as (in progress)
