We use Outlook meeting requests regularly and would like to be able to attach an item from the repository to the invitation (i.e. agenda, reference material). Has anyone found a way to do this?
Question
Question
Attach an item from repository to an Outlook meeting request
Answer
If you create an appointment or meeting from Outlook there is the ability to attach a file, but it currently does not allow you to attach a file from Laserfiche.

I don't think this is currently supported with the Workflow integration, but if you use Web Access you could include a link to the document in the text of the appointment.
Thank you Blake. Is it supported when creating the appointment "manually" or outside a Workflow?

Is this a consideration for the next upgrade? Since the ability to attach a Laserfiche item to an email already exists I would think it should be relatively easy to allow attachments from the repository to meeting invitations also.
Please consider this our official request!
I just emailed myself a link to a document that I want to review each time an Outlook Calendar's reoccurring reminder comes up. I then dragged the link from the email into the reoccurring Outlook reminder and saved. Then I opened the Outlook reminder and double clicked on the link to see if the document would open as expected. It did.
Would this not work for your meeting requests?
