Hi all , 

I have and integration between laserfiche and IBM informix DB through ODBC , it was working perfectly during past 7 years , now i upgrade laserfice from 7.2 to 9.0 , i face an issue in retrieving Arabic data from the informix to the QF , Arabic data comes like symbols , English , dates & numbers comes perfect  . 

 

 

anyone could help in that

On the machine running QF, please bring up the Windows control panel, and choose the Language and Region control panel applet (it may be called something slightly different in your version of Windows). Under the Administrative tab in the dialog, please check the setting for Language for non-Unicode programs. If it's not set to "Arabic (Saudi Arabia)", please change it to that and reboot Windows. I've attached a screenshot, although mine is set to "English (United States)":

Hi,

Sorry for reviving this old thread, unfortunately one of our clients is facing the same issue and changing the language for non-Unicode programs to Arabic (Saudi Arabia) didn't solve the issue on Windows 7 OS. However It is working normally on Windows XP.

kindly advise.
