Import XML to the Form designer

Dears.

A customer has around 100 forms designed in MS office Word.

From MS word they can save-as each form in XML format.

then, is there a possible way to import them to the e-form designer to avoid redesiging them from sratch in LF Form

Hey Dory,

 

Hypothetically it could be possible, but it would be very difficult.  You'll need to modify the XML format of the form from Microsoft Word to be the correct format for Laserfiche Forms.  Additionally, Laserfiche Forms doesn't import forms; it imports business processes.  So even if you are able to modify the XML format, you'll also need more information included in the XML like the Business Process Modeler information and the Access Rights.  

 

It sounds like it would end up requiring more work than you'd be saving.  Ultimately the decision is yours, as there may be details regarding the forms and the processes surrounding them that I am not aware of.
