Dears,
a customer has its Organization hierarchical structure well defined in the active directory. They need to have participant users for the E-Form.
what is the best way to integrate the routing according to the AD users level?
thanks,

Dory,
Hello I hope you are doing well. Can you expand a bit on your description above? What E-Form are you talking about? Are you talking about a form created in Laserfiche Forms? Also can you explain what routing needs to be done? Do they need the form routed to a folder in Laserfiche and an email sent to the users?
John
I'm assuming you are referring to Forms since that is the topic you selected.
Forms routing does not tie into Active Directory itself, so you will need some other database that houses that information. For instance, our organizations HR software keeps track of each employee's supervisor, so we tie into that when deciding who to route to for approvals.
You may be able to use some other method of querying AD and then populating a SQL database that houses the information as well that you could use for the routing lookup.
John is spot on; we'd love to help, but we need much more information before we can. If you have directory users, they can be routed to like any other user. Note that they have to have a license of some kind, so they'll need to be registered in Forms.
