Email from Weblink - Laserfiche E-mail plug-in

A client of ours is trying to email from WebLink but doesn't have the email feature. My understanding is that you need to have the Laserfiche E-mail plugin-in license to be able to achieve this. Is this accurate?

The Laserfiche Email Plugin is activated by the server license from what I read on the web help.

Is the Laserfiche E-mail Plug-in license an additional cost or is it included in Rio?

What would be the process to achieving this?

To setup Weblink email , launch the Weblink Administration Utility and select "email" tab

then enter the proper settings for your Mail server. review below image

The Laserfiche Email Plugin is included in Laserfiche Rio. Whatever your error is, it's not likely linked to the Email Plugin itself.

What message are they getting when they try to email from Weblink?

Related on this - I have entered a valid email config, sent test email but when I go to save the config I am getting the following error - see attached.

Invalid SMTP setup, but it did test correctly and I received the test email.

It says that the SMTP server is invalid. If you use that SMTP server outside of LF using another mail client, does that work?

Yes, the test email sends.

Please open a case with your VAR so we can look further into this behavior.
