Question

Dynamic number field not sorting correctly

asked on February 9, 2015

I currently have a dynamic field setup to populate numbers from 1-9xx, but it looks all out of order even after it is setup to sort with ascending option selected.

This should be fixed in Laserfiche 9.2. If you cannot upgrade and must remain on 9.1.1, then can you change the column type from float to int?

Alex,

After changing the type from float to INT, should I see the change right away? or will this require a service restart for Laserfiche and sql?

If you're not using the attribute to cache field values, then the change should be immediate, as soon as you change the column type.
