where is the Scanning profile being saved to?

I am looking to backup the scanning profile for individual users, and I would like to know where is it being saved to locally? Because I know that scanning profile does not write to the user's Laserfiche attributes. Thanks.

When you say "Scanning Profile", what exactly do you mean? Are you talking about the settings in Laserfiche Scanning, or are you referring to the settings you set on the scanner itself?

Scanning profiles are saved to laserfiche attributes. You can just copy that xml and paste back in. If you dont see options to see basic/standard settings then they have non saved.

I am looking for the scanner's settings, ie kofax, twain, WIA selection. does this get saved locally on the user's machine somewhere? I am pretty sure settings like this will not be saved via Laserfiche Attributes.

The depend on the scan engine. ISIS drivers save their settings in C:\windows\setscan.ini. Kofax has its own kofax.ini file. TWAIN and WIA are less standardized, so they don't have a unique location as far as i know
