Lag between tabbing to a field and being able to enter data in that field.

Hi,
We have a large form with over 300 fields in it.

When users are pressing 'Tab' to move from one field to another, they are noticing lag between the time they hit 'tab' and when they are able to input data in that field.

They cannot enter the value in the field immediately after coming to the field.

Has anyone else noticed the same problem?

Does anyone know what can be the reason of this 'slowness'? We do have several rules (over 30) in the form and also validations on many of the fields.

do you have lookups or javascript acting on this page as well as 300 fields?

What browser are they using?

We don't have lookups but we do have JavaScripts.

We are using IE10.

Which version of Forms are you on? We've been working on improving performance, and the last couple of releases are much better. Also, as Kenneth suggests, try loading your form in other browsers. I've had the best luck with Chrome.
