This option is greyed out for all non-admin users in the Laserfiche client, any ideas?

Can you access your files through Windows Explorer? Have you confirmed that WebDAV is configured correctly?
As a representative of the VAR for Tony Donn, additional information available for this issue is that the "Open files directly (using WebDAV)" setting within Tools | Options | View | Open With of the Laserfiche Client for electronic documents and PDFs is enabled (not greyed out) when the logged-on Windows user is a Local Administrator or a Domain Administrator and the setting is disabled (greyed out) when the logged-on Windows user is not a Local Administrator and not a Domain Administrator.
Does this additional infomation help anybody identify the circumstances of when the "Open files directly (using WebDAV)" setting within Tools | Options | View | Open With of the Laserfiche Client for electronic documents and PDFs is enabled (not greyed out) and the circumstances of when this setting is disabled (greyed out).
The position our customer wants to get to is enable the above Laserfiche Client setting for users without having to make the Windows user a Local Administrator or a Domain Administrator.
NB. We have raised a Support Case for this issue and are awaiting an answer to the issue via that channel, but we have also posted this additional information here to Tony's original question in the possibility that somebody will be able to provide an answer to the question.
We're having this issue. I'm honestly not sure what the value of this feature is, but if anyone has any information, it would be much appreciated.
