Laserfiche Forms Submitting Multiple Email and Workflow Processes After Upgrade

asked on February 2, 2015 Show version history

Laserfiche Forms has been submitting multiple emails that are not configured in the workflow process and/or is running the workflow process more than once.  This only started occurring after the upgrade was done from version 9.0..478 to 9.2.0.472.

Workflow and Forms are not seeming to communicate either.

I have not been able to connect the "Web application directory" in the Workflow Configuration Manager.  When I test it it gives me error 500 - The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

I read an article saying this can occur if ASP.NET was installed before IIS was configured and was given a command prompt to run.  This did not fix the issue either.

In event viewer I am receiving this message:

2/2/2015 9:49:52 PM

Message: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

Stack trace: at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()

at Laserfiche.Forms.Routing.LFWorkflowService.Execute(Int32 instanceId, IRoutingContext routingContext)

at Laserfiche.Forms.Routing.ServiceTask.Execute(Int32 instanceId, IRoutingContext routingContext)

Any guidance that could be offered would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide more information on your question?

How is the "Forms Submitting Multiple Email and Workflow Processes" triggered? By start new submission on Forms? If so, can you tell us your Forms and Workflow process content?

But then you said "Workflow and Forms are not seeming to communicate either." If they cannot communicate, then how is Workflow triggered after all?
