How do you configure who has rights to login to Forms Config

asked on January 29, 2015 Show version history

Forms Configuration is suddenly asking for a user and password at a Windows Auth Prompt from IIS. I am unable to login with my domain account and have never been prompted to login even though Win Auth is enabled on the site. If I enable anonymous Auth then it says 401.0 - Unauthorized.

Where is it configured for which windows accounts have access, I have never needed to configure my windows account to have access in any previous installs.

Edit: I found that I can succesfully access the site from the WAN, just not on the server itself, never had this happen before. All forms servers are usually configured locally.

Hey Chad,

Are you able to verify that you're an admin on the Forms Server?  This is strange behavior that you're getting different results depending on your location within the network.  Once we verify that you are, in fact, an admin on the Forms Server, then we can continue troubleshooting to isolate the problem.
