Question

Forms - no account is configured to archive, unable to view my forms

asked on January 26, 2015 Show version history

When users are saving forms  (we use a Save to Repository Task) their form is a single blank page. The process shows completed and forms posts the error in the event log: No account is configured to archive the form submission to Laserfiche.

I verified the Save to Repository Task Credentials using Save and Verify. It does save the entry to Laserfiche, just with no image. How do I see my forms?

Edit: Also where is my ability to Re-submit the form from the forms webpage? Usually whenever there is an error in the Save to Repository task I get an option to resubmit. It just says Status - Completed. We are looking to view these forms as soon as they come in, they are critical forms.

Hi Chad,

Since the instance is completed, you are not able to re-submit the form.

For the issue that the saved form is blank, there was a bug in LF Forms 9.2, that is when SSL 3.0 is disabled, the form generated in the Save to Repository task would be blank. It is fixed in the latest hotfix for Forms 9.2. You can refer to the page here https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/kbarticle.aspx?articleid=1013577 .

  • If SSL 3.0 is disabled, the form generated in a Save to Repository task and the form generated for users to download after submission will no longer appear blank (121384).

Make sure you also install wkhtmltopdf version 0.12 shipped with the hotfix on the machine hosting Laserfiche Forms server.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, that led exactly to the problem. I checked the registry and found that SSL 3.0 was disabled. It turns out it was disabled by IT to protect against some vulnerability. The remaining question is how do we access our forms? I am unable to send them back to the repository as they show complete, where are they stored?

Also - Is it ok to disable TLS 1.0/1.1 as well?
