Hi All,

Any update on QF being able to populate dynamic fields as a drop down?

Cheers!

Hi,

Dynamic fields can be used to populate dropdowns (and provide other dynamic fields behavior) in Quick Fields Scanning.

We don't currently have any plans to add support for dynamic fields in the original Quick Fields application.

Hello Kyle,

The next release of Quick Fields is not yet on the product roadmap, but developers will look into this request for the next version. In the mean time, you may be interested in lookups within Quick Fields to achieve similar functionality.

Currently the only workaround for this is to use a stored procedure in the dbo.propdef table?

Hello Chris,

Yes, you could run a stored procedure inside of Quick Fields. Another option would be to process documents from inside the repository and utilize dynamic fields there.

Hi all,

Dynamic fields are supported in the new Quick Fields Scanning application, available in version 10. (However, note that they are still not supported in the original Quick Fields application).

Hi Laserfiche,

Is there any update on when this might be supported in Quick Fields? This has been a basic feature request for 7 years now.

Thanks!
