WebLink Search Results do not immediately show Date Modified or Date Created

As as Admin user I am able to view the Date Modified & Date Created fields on Search Results Page:

For Example:

Users in other groups (not Admin) are unable to view these fields:

Things I have done:

  • I have ensured that these fields are set to show in the WebLink Designer, and it makes no sense on how users in different groups see different options.
  • I have also click on "My WebLink" (upper right corner) where you should be able to select these option per user and they do not have the option to show Date Modified or Date Created.

I am answering my own question:

I assigned the Extended Properties rights and they can now see the Date metadata on the Search Results page.

Thanks for documenting your solution, Cylinda!

In WL 8, in addition to the date metadata, a user also needs the Extended Properties feature right to see the entry ID, the electronic file size, and whether the file is indexed.
