Determine who moved the document to a folder

Is there a way to determine who moved a document to a folder? I noticed that 'Last Modified By' is not updated when the document is moved. I then want to take this info and use it in Quickfields.

This information is only available in Audit Trail.

Moving a document is not modifying the document, which is why the last modified date and "Last Modified By" will not change.

If you are running audit trail you can find it in there assuming you are logging move events and have kept the relevant logs. If you didn't log it there I'm not sure you can find it for past moves.

Another option is to have a workflow run when a document is moved and capture the initiator somewhere like a metadata field or database table.
