Question

Switching screens when "1" is typed in a text box

asked on January 20, 2015

A co-worker of mine has two monitors and every time that she types the number 1 in a text box the Document Viewer will switch to her other monitor. I had her check if Num Lock was on and it was. I'm not sure if this problem is related to Laserfiche our her computer, but any ideas on what could cause this would be helpful.

Thanks,

Matt Dill

Is she using any sort of auto hotkey software? If so, try disabling it or uninstalling it. Could one of the control keys on the keyboard (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Windows) be stuck? Try swapping keyboards.

Does it only happen in Laserfiche fields?  If she tries to type into Notepad or Word does it have the same behavior?

We swapped keyboards and that fixed the problem.
