Formatting Date Token

I have an Assign Token Values activity in a workflow that I need to take todays date and have it formatted yyyy-mm-dd. If I read the documentation correctly, is this what I need "%(Date#"yyyy-MM-dd"#)"?

Yes, that's correct. The token editor can help you test and confirm any formatting rules you apply.
