Question

Error FindMultipleADObjects

asked on January 8, 2015

Hi Everyone,

I have Laserfiche Server 9.0.2, and sometimes I got the following error in Windows Event Viewer repeatedly.

Laserfiche Admin Console: FindMultipleADObjects

Someone have any idea to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Cristian

Are you doing anything in the Admin console when you get this message?
Does the version of LFS.exe on the server correspond to the version of the Admin console you have?

Hi Raymond,

No, I just leave it open until timeout is reached because of inactivity, I noticed about the message when I opened Event Viewer.

Yes, it corresponds to the version of LFS.exe.

Laserfiche 9.0 Administration Console, Version: 9.0.2.671.

This error appears more than 150 times.

Any clue about it?

Is the machine on the same network as the LF server?

In the Admin console, right click on the server name then remove the current Server registration.  Then add a new server registration but instead of using the AD name of the server, use the IP address of the server itself.  Then see if you still receive the same messages in the event log.

Is it safe? I had the Admin console installed on the same machine as the LF Server.

I am worry about the availability of repository if that means LFS.exe will be stopped as I unregister/register it.

Yes, those changes only affect the Admin console, not the LF server itself.  Just to be clear, you are unregistering the Server itself from the Admin console, not the repository.  These are two different things.
