windows aero and drop downs not staying open

This issue has been seen with one of the organizations that I am working with where if a windows 7 aero theme enabled the drop downs for metadata immediately disappear after click the drop down arrow in order to reveal the list. Is this a known issue with version 9.2?

It turns out that not all files from previous versions were removed when they had been uninstalled which dated back to version 7. These were removed completely with cc cleaner and this resolved the issue.

I wasn't able to recreate the issue using the default Windows 7 Aero Theme. List fields in the Client metadata pane work fine for me. It may be best to open a case with Support so the issue can be investigated further. Perhaps there's more to it than just the theme itself, but at this point it's too hard to speculate and better handled through a case.
