Annotations not available

PDF document imported using drag and drop and cannot add annotations. I can run OCR but no other functionality (stick notes, highlights ... ) are available. How do I enable this functionality?

Michael,

Did you actually generate pages or just text? If you are viewing this in the desktop Client document viewer, are you viewing an 'image' pane or 'efile' pane? If the later you're actually viewing the PDF itself and you need to switch to the image pane to actually work with Laserfiche specific items such as annotations. If an image pane isn't present, make sure you run generate pages, not text, in order to get the image pages as well.

Hi Michael,

The annotations should be placed on the image. Please make sure you have the Image Pane enabled and the pages are generated.
