This issue can't be recreated. In testing, I assigned some device licenses. Then I restarted the Laserfiche Directory Server 9.2 service and the device licenses remained properly assigned. However, we did discover another issue where if Active Directory Synchronization is enabled and configured that during the synchronization process, it could cause the device licenses to revert back to (None). Can you confirm if that's actually what you're running into and the service restart was just a coincidence?
If you are consistently seeing the named devices reverting back to (None) after a restart of the Laserfiche Directory Server service, then please open a support case and provide a video demonstrating the issue.
