I am considering to bring our HR department out of the dark ages and into the light :)

I was hoping someone that has implemented HR can give me some tips from a project manager perspective. One area that I am interested in is how have you secured the HR documents from IT staff and/or the Laserfiche administrator themselves? Are you using SSL encryption? Do you have a separate repository for HR or is it shared?
