Anyone using Laserfiche for Contract Management?

posted on December 17, 2014

We're currently working on resources about streamlining contract management and would love to interview anyone that's using Laserfiche for this process! The interview would be short- about 30-45 minutes and would cover the overall process and challenges you face.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

We are also looking to use Laserfiche 10 for contract management. I'm not sure where to start. Does Laserfiche have any customers in Government who are using this in practical application or any workflow templates? Any assisatance would be most appciated. Thanks so much!

Hi Annie,

Thanks for your post! We have several resources available to help you get started. On the Solution Exchange, we have an article that details how the City of Bayham is automating contract management, and another article from San Bernardino Associated Governments.

We will also be releasing the Laserfiche Business Process Library this spring, which will include pre-built Forms and Workflow for common processes. Keep an eye out for more information to come.

Let me know if you have any questions!

We are not using it yet, but are currently creating the process in WF.  In the final stages of testing before introducing it to staff.  First design shown to a key employee resulted in a decision that staff would not want to have to change the status field for each stage, unless there was good reason.  Second design (pared down to as few steps as possible) hopefully will pass the next viewing and move to trials with staff.

Thanks so much, Connie! I'm going to reach out to you via email to see if you'd be willing to share your design when it's completed!

Definitely willing to share; we at Flagstaff County are big on sharing and were very surprised on how little there is out there that is being shared (other than this Answers forum which is a very big help!) between users.  It's true, everyone's processes are different, but ... for a beginner, being able to see how someone has put something together really helps.
