Client 9.1 Search Pane is not showing the list field options when it gets changed

I have a customer that has a template that has list fields, when he selects from the list and then deletes the option he selected, he has to click out of the field then back in to populate the whole list again. He is on 9.1 and I was able to replicate this on my 9.2 client.

Is this a known issue?

This is due to a change in how list fields are handled in the search pane. They are treated as edit boxes by default. One workaround may be to go back to the drop down style that was previously used. To do that, you can add the following attribute to the Everyone group:

[Search]ShowDropDownLists

And set the value to

True

This worked for the list fields! Thank you! However it did not work for one of the Dynamic templates that they are using. Is there a way to show the list in a Dynamic field when changing the selection?

A request to display the entire list of relevant values after clearing out the previously selected value has been filed (both standard and dynamic list fields). The proposed workaround of using the attribute only affects standard list fields. For now, the user would still need to click out of and back into the dynamic list field.

Is there a way to have this for the metadata pane when users are filling out metadata as opposed to just the search window?

The Client metadata pane displays standard list fields and dynamic fields using dropdowns already. Are you seeing something different? If so, please provide a screenshot.

I'll open another discussion since it is an issue with windows Aero themes and the drop drop down list disappearing once the user hovers over an option.
