Question

Rotating an image closes the LF Client

asked on December 11, 2014

Hi,

We have currently upgraded from LF 9.0.2 to LF 9.2 and we are now sitting with an issue whereby when users try to rotate an image using Rotate Image Clockwise arrow then the client closes completely. it's only happening to 3 users.

We have tried to uninstall the newly installed client and re-installed but behavior is still the same. Is there maybe something that we are missing on the settings?

Is this machine specific? Try deleting the attributes for one of the users in question and see if the problem still exists.

Hi Steven, the same issue is happening for one of my clients.

Do you know which attribute or attributes manage this behaviour? As I would not like to delete all attributes.

Regards,

Please apply Laserfiche 9.2 SP1 on the Client workstation. One of the Client fixes is for the following issue:

The Document Viewer could close unexpectedly when rotating an image if the Thumbnails Pane is not open. (122600)

See if that addresses the issue.
