Question

outlook email not working with workflow

asked on December 10, 2014

Did a post a while back.  Our situation is for Workflow only.  I as a user can sent a document.

1.  We have a document that has a annotation on a tiff file that needs to be emailed.

2.  We use the tool in workflow to send the document and we get the error message that reads.  "Activity = E-mail6 (_Entry_0)  Message=Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.  Parameter name:  width

3.  Immediately following that error message we have another one:  Activity=eForms_DC_WarrantHandlerTEST  Message = Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.  Parameter name:  width

4.  We have tried to send it as a PDF with electronic document and the PDF annotations; we have tried to send it just the PDF with PDF annotations; we have tried to send it as TIFF with annotations.  We get the same error messages no mater what option we choose.

5.  IF we take the FLAT file (without the annotations) and email it out.... it works like a charm.  NOTE:  we are trying to send out of our county email system.

We have made sure we have an active email account called workflow-notifier

We have made sure we can email from workflow-notifier account

My question is.....  what am I missing.  This has stopped production now for 3 months.  We have to put the documents to the desktop and have a user manually do the same process of sending them out.  But note that when they export them out it does become that flat tiff file.  I feel it has something to do with the annotation that is preventing workflow to handle it.  We are at LF9 and using the 8.3 or 9.x client.

Could you have your reseller open a case support case and attach a briefcase with a sample document?
