Question

Labels Do Not Wrap Correctly

asked on December 10, 2014

Starting in Forms 9.2 I have noticed that field labels do not seem to always wrap correctly compared to how they wrapped in 9.1. See below:

It would be nice if it would wrap the entire word like in previous versions of Forms.

Is this an issue that you're only seeing in IE? Are the field labels fine in other browsers like Chrome and Firefox?

The wrapping appears to be ok with the latest versions of FireFox and Chrome. It's apparently just IE11.

Thanks for confirming. We have a bug filed for this issue already. We'll update the thread when we have more information about the fix.

I am still having this same issue in IE. Just checking to see if we can expect it to be fixed soon?

I believe the best and simplest recommendation is to make the labels appear above the fields. While not how you might of originally intended the form to look, making this change will allow the label to always have plenty of room to exist, so it will fix some of these issues.
