My client is using a 'Department' Dynamic Field to generate a list for another dynamic field 'GL Code'. I have found that when the user selects 'Department' then selects 'GL Code' the 'GL Code' field is erased after saving.  To remedy this my client has been instructed to select 'Department' -> Select Save -> Choose "GL Code'.

I'm wondering if there is a setting I can change that will stop the 'GL Code' from being erased if the user does not save after selecting the first field 'Department'.

'GL Codes' is also set as a multi-value field, if you do not save after selecting the 'Department' then the field also does not appear as multi-value. I would imagine that has something to do with why its being erased on save and thought it was worth mentioning.
