Question

How will Laserfiche Mobile Forms behave when connectivity to the server becomes unavailable?

asked on December 3, 2014

What will happen if a user opens a form in tablet using Laserfiche mobile app and gets in to the area where there is no connectivity.

What will happen to the form?  Can a user still use the form?

Will the data be saved on tablet and resync with the Laserfiche server when the connection becomes available?

Thanks

The Laserfiche Mobile Forms module does not currently support offline forms, it's basically just a terminal into the Forms Server. You cannot currently access or submit forms is the Forms server is unavaliable, but that's something the team is researching.

If you’ve gotten access to Mobile Forms in an area with connection, and then you lose connection, then you will be prompted into a network error dialog. Once the connection returns, you can submit or save the form.

Hello
Version 10.3 supports the use of Forms offline?

Very much so! My client used it extensively over 50,000 forms submissions by several phones over several weeks.
