Can you place a limit on a folder as to how many documents are allowed in that folder?

Hi Tara,

Off the top of my head I don't think it's possible from a folder securities standpoint, but what you could do is create a small workflow that gets invoked when a new document enters the repository and checks the destination folder for the amount of documents inside. If it's equal to the limit, send an email to the initiator saying the folder is full, and delete starting entry. Otherwise if it is < the limit, allow the entry inside the destination folder. Could take it a step further and have it check after the entry enters the folder also, giving a warning that it's now full, approaching the limit, etc.

Volumes are the only things in Laserfiche that have a maximum size, but they are not a great fit for this.  What is the problem you are trying to solve?
