How to link document in mail ?

asked on November 28, 2014

Hello,

How can I make a link to a file to insert into a mail sent by a workflow ? I want to use this link to let user consulting the document just by clicking the mail's link.

Is it possible without Webaccess/Weblink ?

Regards,

Moana.

You would have to generate a Web Access link rather than a LF Shortcut, but yes, it would work too. You could even have both so users pick the one that suits them best.

The email activity gives you an option to send the document as a Laserfiche shortcut (which would open in the Laserfiche Client if the recipient has it installed).
