Browser & Document Toolbar Registry Location

Where exactly under HKCU_\Software\Laserfiche\Client are the settings for the Browser and Document toolbars stored? I would like to set up our clients with specific buttons rather than the default, but do not want to export/import the entire Client reg key since there are other settings under the Profile reg key which I do not want applied to all users.

The document viewer layout is in the DocumentToolbars* subkeys, and the main window layout is in the Toolbars* keys (under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\Client8)

How do you turn on permissions to allow the user to SAVE their toolbars? I'm the administrator and when I go to my toolbars on my new PC (just got a new laptop), it won't let me save the toolbars I just added. Is that a registry change? I do have admin rights to my PC.

There appear to be 8 different "Toolbar" Keys under this path. Is there any way to identify specific keys that match up with specific buttons?

I have one "Business Process Start" button on the toolbar that I'd like to be able to export out to everyone. Since this isn't in the attributes, I am assuming the only way to do so is to export a particular registry key for every machine. I'd like to narrow down exactly which key(s) need to be exported.

For the main window, copy all of the Client8\Toolbars* keys. For the document viewer, copy all of the Client8\DocumentToolbars* keys.

Yes, the registry location is the same through 10.4 and there are no plans to change it.

Hi All,

Thank you for your comments.

We are saving all the registries and subkeys under path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\ for both virtual desktops and FAT client PCs.

Tool bar setting is being remembered for FAT client PCs but not for virtual desktops.

Can anyone please specify if we are missing something to save ? (Any specific key/subkey)
