Can we setup a custom stamp in LF client using a syntax that would bring a field value, e.g Payment date that is not today's date?
I tried to copy the syntax from advance search without success, maybe a wrong syntax.

The quickest workaround for this is to use the Text Box annotation instead of the Stamp - Text Box can take advantage of the full range of tokens available in workflow, and you can format it to look just like a stamp (if the stamp contained only text).
Thanks, Jim. I tried that, but could not see how to change the font type or colour. Do you know if that is possible? With a stamp, I am able to create (pretty much) an exact match to our physical stamps (specific font, red text).
You can change font size, but I don't think there's any way to change the actual font or font color using the built-in activity.
It has been a while since I posted it and it was written for LFSO 8.3, but you can see how I created dynamic stamps in workflow in a post on the old LF Forums:
Hello Bernard,
This functionality is available using Workflow! In the workflow Apply Stamp activity, you have field value tokens available to you, whereas in the Client, you only have a generic set of tokens available. Workflow can apply this stamp with the Payment Date automatically, or, if you would prefer, you can make this workflow a buisness process so that it can still be innitialted by a user form within the Client.
Hello Kathryn,
I have been unable to configure tokens to populate custom stamps using Workflow's retrieve field values tokens. We need to apply two stamps to permit approved drawings - one is a two line stamp with the department name and received date token (added field), the other is the permit approval stamp with six lines of text & the approval date token (template field) in the middle.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide examples of what the Workflow activities and corresponding stamp tokens should look like.
Thanks,
Miranda
