cannot OCR if DPI is below 75 DPI for Laserfiche 9.1.1.486 (possible SCR)

Since the upgrade to LF9, the OCR engine is updated also (OmniPage 18.5). The new version of OCR does not OCR any image below 75DPI.

In previous version of LFS/OmniPage, it will run the OCR even if the image DPI is below 75.

 

Will this be updated in the near future?

Unfortunately, the OCR engine does not support images under 75DPI. This limitation is not new to OmniPage 18.5.
