Question

Save to Repository saves blank pages, but the template/fields are stored (Forms 9.2)

asked on November 12, 2014

I have a customer with a recently upgraded forms server (from 9.1.0 to 9.2) and my Laserfiche server is still on version 9.1.0. The Forms server is configured to use SSL. Since the upgrade, my forms that are getting saved to the repository all contain blank pages for the images. Any template/field information is properly set for the document, and the process doesn't log any errors or messages for the submission.

I found this post and thought I was having a similar problem, but I can't seem to get it to work even if I adjust the Primary Forms Server setting on the config page (I am unclear about what format to enter here, anyway...). I have tried the following:

https://servername.domain.net/Form

//servername.domain.net/Forms

//servername/Forms

When I tried the https version, it appears to "autocorrect" to //https//servername.domain.net/Forms  and I don't know if that's an issue.

Anyone else run into this? Any suggestions?

You don't need the change the URL itself, what you need to is the check the checkbox before "Use SSL connection" and click save on the Form Sever tab.

I did have that box checked the whole time, but based on your screenshot I was able to see the proper format for the server URL. I was testing lots of variations yesterday (and I thought I even tested that one), but when I changed it this morning to "//servername/Forms" it began working again.

Thanks for the clarification!
