I just created a new database with my VAR kit.  I then created a simple workflow - when a document is created in a specific folder put a sticky note on it.  I can't get it to kick off - if I manually run it it works fine but it won't auto run.  Are there limits to the VAR kit?  Is there somewhere I can look for hints as to why this doesn't work?  I didn't see anything in the event log.

Very strange.
