I would have to say it's a tie between the custom query and the Tokens. Custom query has brought our operations to a new height. the tokens just make things so much more dynamic and functional.

I love Workflow! I love the cute little activities, really, they make the complicated processes I create look not so daunting when I can pull in a cute little colorful activity; they make it fun to build a workflow. I love how I can build something simple to just file a document, to something very complex that can pull tokens from file names, do lookups and assign metadata and rename files so that I can then batch file hundreds of documents at one time.

I also love that I can use it for off-Laserfiche tasks. When we switched website vendors we had to migrate over 5500 documents and had to change the naming convention to work with the new website. I simply drop them into a test folder in Laserfiche and write a custom, single use workflow to break apart the file name and rename them all and bam, a horrible, tedious task is done for me in a matter of minutes.

I have also built automated processes and email reminders for several tasks, so that I don't have to follow up with people and nag them, Laserfiche does it automatically. It reaches out to people to collect information and captures it in a SQL table.

I Love all of the things that Workflow can do for me.

My favorite tool in Laserfiche is Workflow because it allows me to create better processes for staff so that going paperless enhances their work. The custom integrations allow me to create a seamless experience with Laserfiche and their client interface. AND Business Processes - awesome! I have eliminated many starting rules with BP and my repository thanks me for it :-)

Workflow is my favorite hands down. Between manipulating data using ODBC and SQL, writing custom scripts to automate common tasks, and filing data into the appropriate folders based off metadata, I have saved my organization days if not weeks worth of wasted time sorting.

Best investment ever.

My favorite thing is that people really love Laserfiche, because it's useful. And also that you all are passionate enough to argue about your favorite parts of Laserfiche!!

By the way, my favorite part of Laserfiche is a tie: the search, and the annotations. And that Forms and Workflow interact. And the Mobile app. And all of it, really.
