Question

Administrative Specialist I

Good morning.  We currently have version 9.1.  We are having issues with our Quickfields session.  We cannot tab into the date fields on our template to capture date of the report and when the incident was reported to our agency.  In addition we have a template that allows for multiple name entries for our suspect, victim and Involved fields but does not appear when entering data.

Every time we have to enter multiple names on a document prior to storing our documents we must go to Configure fields for each document and select our template.  I have used the Set button and then selected OK in order for the session to allow multiple fields on that particular field but have to do it each and every time for each field (suspect, victim, infolved).  This is not productive.  I did not create the initial session so not sure how to ‘Set/Save’ this process in the QF Session or maybe need to start from scratch and create a new QF Session??

Please advise if able.

Thanks.

OK, so if I'm reading this right, you're scanning documents, then you have to click on each individual one to change the template?

You can set the default template in the document class in the Session Configuration pane. If you right-click on the document class and choose Configure Fields, you can set the template that will be applied to all documents from then on.
