Classes on Workflow

asked on November 4, 2014

Can you tell me is BPM116 - Hands-on Lab:  Getting Started with Workflow the lab version of BPM108 Introduction to LaserFiche Workflow?  In other words, will they cover the same material, just one in classroom version and the other in lab version?

Thank you.

Hi Juanita,

The two classes cover different material.

BPM108: Introduction to Laserfiche Workflow is intended for people who are new to Workflow and its capabilities or for people looking to add Workflow to their Laserfiche implementation.

BPM116: Hands-On Lab: Getting Started with Workflow is different in that it will give you hands-on experience building basic workflows. Labs are some of the most fun classes, definitely consider this class (especially if you're going to be building workflows)!

I checked with the BPM108 Introduction to Laserfiche Workflow instructor and he explained that his course will revolve more on features of Workflow and how robust the product can be.

BPM116 Hands-on Lab: Getting Started with Workflow is focusing more on using the Workflow Designer tool when automating a business process - building the "behind-the-scenes" of an automated business process through Workflow.
