Empower 2015 Conference: Course Highlight of the Day

Principles of Effective Change Management

According to PwC research, "nearly 75 percent of all organizational change programs fail, not because leadership did not adequately address infrastructure, process, or IT issues, but because they did not create the necessary groundswell of support among employees."  Business leaders must gain a deeper understanding on how to successfully navigate the five forces of change with the brain in mind based on David Rock's SCARF (Status - Certainty - Autonomy - Relatedness - Fairness) model.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to lead your people successfully through change.
  • How to engage people's hearts and minds and help them get ready to deliver the business result of impending change.
  • Five ways to reduce the threat of change and build motivation and employee engagement.
