Microsoft Office Plug-in - Modify Profile Attributes in the Administration Console?

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to modify an end users profile attributes so that the log-in information that you are prompted to enter, when using the Save-to-Laserfiche functionality from Word, is setup automatically for end users. Essentially, we want them to never have to select the repository name and authentication method (even the first time that they use the functionality).

The office plugin gets its settings from the registry in HKCU\Software\Laserfiche\LFOfficePlugin. The ServerList key stores the list of known servers and the Profile key holds the list of known repositories. The easiest way to get auto-login working for everyone is to configure it on your machine and export those two registry keys to each user's machine. If you are using windows authentication, you can check "Remember login information" and it will then auto-login for each user without a password prompt.
